Envo’s solution includes functionality for an energy monitoring system (EMS). Good monitoring of energy consumption makes it easy to determine whether the building is using too much energy.
The solution ensures that the energy consumption of all buildings is closely monitored. With our cloud-based platforms, Envo Portfolio Manager or Envo Management System, you have an online overview and full control at all times.
Various smart features further help to reduce the electricity bill. Max guard, for example, reduces the peak load (average consumption over the course of an hour), meaning the periods when the total power draw is at its highest.
Meters
We support most of the meters on the market and help you choose the right ones. We also supply meters from market-leading manufacturers.
Did you know, by the way, that the main meters (AMS) used throughout Norway all have a HAN port that connects directly to the Envo Edge Gateway for easy integration and a clear overview of the building’s total energy consumption?
In line with the environmental certification of buildings, BREEAM-NOR we recommend that all major loads in the building, as well as rental areas, have their own meters to provide the best possible insight. Main meters, both for electricity and other energy sources such as district heating, are also important for maintaining control.
Energy-efficient buildings pay off over time. Good energy solutions are increasingly becoming a requirement from tenants or from buyers when commercial properties are sold. Green buildings require less energy to heat and retain warmth better.
