Envo Gateway communicates with all of the building’s systems regardless of supplier or age.

Scrolling Gateway

Envo gives you full control of commercial buildings without major investments. By collecting data from technical installations, you gain insights, reports, and deviation logs that enable demand-driven automation and optimized operations.

The solution meets tenants’ requirements for an environmental profile and rising electricity costs. Both new and existing buildings become smart and green through deeper insight into energy consumption, resulting in more sustainable and attractive properties.

Use and integration

The system for commercial buildings can be used in various ways. It can serve as a combined operating system for the technical operation of local installations, "SD systems", or as an energy monitoring system (EOS system).

BMS system — combined operating system:
Indoor climate controlled by data – not by guesswork.

When the ventilation is connected to Envo, it goes from being a standalone system to becoming part of the whole. You see air quality, temperature, and operation in real time, and adjust everything from the same platform as the rest of the building.

Sensors measure how the building is actually used, and the platform adjusts ventilation based on need – not fixed settings. This means a better indoor environment for the people who are there, and lower energy use when they are not.

Perhaps the most important thing is this: you don’t have to discover problems through complaints. You see them before they happen.

Light that follows people. Not time.

In many buildings, the lights stay on long after people have gone home. Not because someone decided it should be that way, but because no one is in control. With Envo, the lighting is controlled based on daylight, presence, and actual use. Zones switch off when they’re empty, dim when there’s enough natural light, and actually follow how the building is used.

For operations, it means fewer things to keep track of. For finances, it means lower costs. And for the end user, it means a building that feels right – without anyone having to think about it.

You see what the tenants actually experience.

Indoor climate is the first thing people notice – and the least well documented in many buildings. Envo’s sensors give you a real-time view of temperature, CO₂, air quality and humidity throughout the building. Not as individual measurements, but as a complete picture you can use for control.

That means you move from reacting to complaints to working proactively. You know where it’s too warm, too cold, or has poor air quality—before anyone speaks up. Suddenly, the indoor climate is no longer a risk. It becomes something you actually have control over.

What keeps the building running – under control.

Pumps, valves and actuators are rarely visible until something stops working. When they fail, everything is affected. Envo gives you insight into how these components actually behave. You see operation, load and deviations – and receive alerts before small faults turn into major problems.

You can also control things directly from the platform. Adjust, open, close, and optimize – without being physically present. The result is operations that are more stable, more predictable, and far less reactive.

If it exists in the building, it should be in the same picture.

A commercial building is never just one system. It’s the sum of many – from different suppliers, different years, and different needs. Envo is built for exactly that reality. The platform connects to existing systems via open standards and brings everything together in a single interface.

You don’t have to choose a single supplier for everything. You don’t have to tear out what already works. You get one platform that can handle your building being constructed layer by layer – and still gives you control of the whole picture.

EOS system — energy monitoring:
The energy stops being a surprise.

Electricity is often the biggest cost – and at the same time the least understood. With Envo, consumption is broken down so you can see where the energy actually goes. Not just per building, but per zone, system, and installation.

You detect deviations early, see what is driving costs, and can take action where it actually has an effect. That’s the difference between reading a bill – and managing it.

A complete picture of all energy.

Electricity, district heating and other energy sources often operate separately. They’re reported separately. Managed separately. Envo brings everything together on a single platform. You see the connections, compare consumption, and get a complete picture of how the building actually uses energy.

This makes it easier to prioritize measures, document consumption, and explain the figures – both internally and externally. Energy goes from being fragmented to being understandable.

Detect leaks before they become costly.

Water is often the last resource to be brought under control. It’s measured late, poorly understood, and often only discovered when it’s too late. Envo makes water part of the same control picture as the rest of the building. You see consumption in real time, detect deviations, and receive alerts when something isn’t right.

It might be a leak. Or a pattern that costs more than it should. Either way – you find out early and can do something about it.
