Privacy – GDPR at Envo AS
In connection with the implementation of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Envo AS has updated its internal procedures for monitoring data protection in accordance with this regulation.
Purpose of the processing
We process the information in order to fulfill our obligations under agreements with our customers and suppliers.
We also use the information to provide you with information, offers, and service in connection with purchases from us via email and telephone.
Data controller
General Manager Roy Gausaker is, on behalf of Envo AS, the data controller responsible for the company’s processing of personal data.
Personal data that is stored
We store the following personal data about our customers and suppliers:
Name, phone number, email address and, if applicable, job title.
In addition, we store sales and purchase history, i.e. previously completed and cancelled orders and bookings, as a basis for our accounting.
The basis for the processing
Information about name, phone number, and email address is used to fulfill the agreement. The basis for this processing is Article 6(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The information is used for the following purposes:
- provide our customers with information and offers
- marketing related to our services
- notifications about deviations and operations related to customer services
- login for systems related to customer services
- log changes in systems and nonconformity handling

Collection of personal data
We store the personal data that you as a customer/supplier have provided to our employees in connection with sales/purchases.
We store personal data that is registered in the system when creating users who will use our services.

Disclosure of information to third parties
In order to fulfill our obligations under the agreement, the necessary information is disclosed to our suppliers, who will be carriers and providers of technical services.
Envo collaborates with third-party providers of technical services in order to deliver our services. Once a customer agreement has been entered into, the relevant service provider will use the contact information to fulfill its obligations arising from the customer agreement. Subcontractors of technical services engaged by the customer, connected to that customer’s systems, will have access to the contact information of registered users.
We will not share, transfer, or otherwise disclose personal data to others unless we are legally obliged to do so. If personal data is transferred to third parties due to organizational changes at Envo AS, such disclosure will be notified.
Deletion of personal data
Information we have received in connection with purchases/sales is stored in our contact register for as long as the customer/supplier relationship is active. If a customer relationship is terminated, the associated personal data in our contact register will be deleted 3 months after the notice period has ended.
Information that we are required to retain under the Bookkeeping Act will be stored in accordance with the requirements of the law.
Rights of the data subject
We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that as a customer/supplier you may request access to personal data related to your own employees, as well as request the rectification or deletion of such data.
Complaints may be submitted to the Data Protection Authority about processing that violates the rules.
Information security
We protect your personal data through both physical and virtual access and entry control.
